As the “information superhighway” grew into what is now generally called “Broadband”, G4S Technology grew along with it, as a leader in the deployment of both wireline and wireless technologies.
Our company has been the builder of some of the largest telecommunications networks in the country. We constructed over 3,000 miles of fiber in the State of Iowa and 55 hops of digital microwave for the State of Connecticut. To date, G4S Technology has deployed over 200 successful networks in both rural and metropolitan areas.
We understand that advanced telecommunications infrastructure is vital to create economic opportunities in rural geographic regions. It helps attract technology-based businesses, provide higher wage jobs, and make broadband available by multiple providers, thus offering choice and enhanced customer service. Broadband networks offer a globally competitive economy for health care, education, government, non-profit organizations and businesses. G4S Technology can assist through every stage of developing a successful network suited to a client’s needs and funding.
Broadband is not limited to fiber technology and neither is our experience and capabilities. We are equally at home working with wireless technologies to either extend the reach of fiber infrastructure, or to construct an entire wireless solution.
Our solutions provide an ala carte menu of options for our customers. G4S Technology’s experience includes design, procurement of electronics, permitting, installation, turn up/test, training and maintenance. We specialize in last mile and broadband solutions for ILECs, CLECs, utilities, municipalities, large integration firms and rural associations.
Our customers include: Iowa Communications Network, Five Colleges, North-Link, Maryland Broadband Cooperative, Mid Atlantic Broadband Cooperative, Boulder Valley School District, Colorado Springs School District, CBN Connect, EPB Chattanooga, Open Range Communications, Commonwealth Edison and the Rural Nebraska Healthcare Network.
